A collection of IT-watches will be presented during Minsk Internet Week
1 September 2017
IT-experts from around the world will gather in Minsk on 9-13 October to discuss the development of Internet industry in Eastern Europe and Asia in the framework of ENOG forum and EE DNS Forum. To mark this event, the organizer of Minsk Internet Week – hoster.by company – and Minsk Watch Plant Luch will release a limited edition collection of IT-watches. Looks like IT is becoming a national cause in Belarus.
The design of the watches will be drastically different from anything Luch brand has created before. The plant agreed to devise a bold case design that can not be found in other models. The ideas of minimalism and the relativity of time were the basis of the concept behind the model. However, minimalism applies only to design, while there is a reliable mechanism with 15 rubies inside the watch.
Other details are still kept in secret, but it is known that a completely new technology was used in the model.
“IT for many people in Belarus is not just about work, but about lifestyle. We wanted to point out this fact, as well as the global achievements of our country in IT sphere. We also wanted to give all guests of Minsk Internet Week an opportunity to have an accessory as a memory when they leave,” says Sergey Povalyshev, CEO of hoster.by.
“We will welcome many people to the Eastern European DNS Forum and ENOG (Eurasia Network Operators Group), so we decided to show them what Belarus can be truly proud of. Luch brand is one such examples, and already a legend outside Belarus. We are really inspired by the fact that experts of Minsk Watch Plant agreed to create a model dedicated to IT and launch it on open sale."
The new model will be presented at a press conference of Minsk Internet Week on 11 October. Visitors will also be able to ask any questions to Belarusian and foreign IT experts.
